Even though Thanksgiving is over, that doesn't mean we should stop remembering what we are thankful for! Now before I go on, I want to warn you this list is a little different than you would expect for a "What I am Thankful For" list, but heat me out on this one:
1. The Challenges
Challenges at the time can be stressful, but no matter how big or small they are, we must remember to be thankful for them. Challenges are what help build character, and help us grow into the humans we are meant to be. Challenges are there to prove to yourself that you can overcome anything, and that life will go on.
2. Disappointments
We have all been disappointed as well. But, we can not let our disappointments in life define our life. Remember that when one door closes, another one opens, and that there is always going to be bigger and better things for you. Don't waste your life being disappointed in things that won't matter in a year or so. Life goes on. Spend your energy on better things.
3. The Regrets
We all have regrets. Every single one of us. We all have made mistakes that we look back on and kick ourselves for making. But we have to also remember to be thankful for the experience because it gave us a life lesson. Learn from these lessons and grow from them. Take a negative and make it a positive!
4. Failures
We all have failed. It is a part of life to fail. So, instead of beating yourself up over your failures, be thankful for them. Be thankful for the opportunity to learn from your failures. How will you know you're successful if you never failed?
