To the Person Who Worries too Much.

Updated: Mar 11, 2020

I know if you are reading this, you are worrying about a lot. From the minute you go to bed to the minute you wake up, you're worrying about SOMETHING. But let me tell you that EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OK.

It's okay that you don't have abs. Are you healthy? Are you happy? Go on that 2 mile run and eat that large cheesy pizza afterwards to reward yourself if you want to. Stop letting society make you feel a certain way about how you should look.

It is okay is some people don't like you. Don't change who you are to make others accept you. I wrote about this in a previous blog post as well, so if you want a more in depth explanation, check it out!

SAY NO. Don't worry yourself and make yourself anxious because you start overwhelming yourself with things to do because you are too nervous to say NO. Worry first about yourself and your priorities.

Don't get yourself worked up over whether or not to skip class one day... If you need a break TAKE IT. Your health is more important than one one and a half hour class. Go back to bed and ease your mind.

It's okay that you are single. Relationships aren't all what they seem. People put only their best moments on social media. You have to remember that people in a relationship don't necessarily have it better. That couple you see holding hands may be looking around to see if their girl/guy is staring at someone else. Or they just were screaming at each other in the car. You don't know, so focus on loving yourself before looking for someone to love you. Pure relationships happen when you least expect it. Just LET IT HAPPEN.

It is okay you have no idea what you want to do with your life. I discussed this in my other blog post, but I will repeat that IT IS OKAY. But, just remember, everything happens for a reason and you will be where you need to be.

Just a reminder... WE ALL WORRY. And you know what? It is okay to worry sometimes. But just remember a majority of this stuff you are worrying about now, won't even matter in 3-5 years from now, so take a deep breath, and keep pushing through. YOU WILL BE FINE.

It's okay to worry. Say what?! You heard me. Its okay to worry, sometimes. Its okay to worry about a test grade, an application, etc. So don't waste your time worrying about yourself. You are doing just fine.
